शक्तिकांत दास बने नए RBI गवर्नर, उर्जित पटेल ने कल दिया था इस्तीफा
देश के नए आरबीआई गवर्नर के नाम का फैसला हो गया है. शक्तिकांत दास को नया आरबीआई गवर्नर नियुक्त किया गया है. कल ही आरबीआई गवर्नर उर्जित पटेल ने इस्तीफा दिया था. शक्तिकांत दास पूर्व आर्थिक मामलों के सचिव रह चुके हैं और फिलहाल वित्त आयोग के मौजूदा सदस्य है. ये भी माना जाता है कि नोटबंदी के दौरान भी शक्तिकांत दास ने अहम भूमिका निभाई थी.
शक्तिकांत दास का जन्म 26 फरवरी 1957 को हुआ था और उन्होंने तमिलनाडु कैडर के आईएएस अधिकारी के रूप में काम किया. शक्तिकांत दास का रिटायरमेंट हो चुका है और वो भारत के 15वें वित्त आयोग के सदस्य हैं. हाल ही में वो पीएम मोदी के साथ जी-20 समिट में भाग लेने के लिए अर्जेंटीना भी गए थे.
कल ही खबर आई थी कि आरबीआई के गवर्नर उर्जित पटेल ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था. हालांकि उन्होंने व्यक्तिगत कारणों का हवाला दिया लेकिन माना जा रहा है कि सरकार के साथ चल रही खींचतान के चलते उन्होंने इस्तीफा दिया है.
